- :>NFS is supported by the kernel. If you want to run as a client, you'll

- :>host you'll need to compile a nfsd aswell.
-
- I want both. I plan on mounting a couple directories off my PC, like
- /usr/man and /usr/src as well as the cdrom drive. I also want to
- mount the root directory, read only, from the amiga on the PC , so I can back
- it up with the PC's tape drive.
-
- I was able to mount the PC drives on the amiga, but then I screwed it up
- again. I was trying to compile different networking programs I found.
- I think I've screwed up something on the PC as well as I get errors like:
-
- mountd: Socket destroy delayed (r=0, w=236)
-
- and
-
- mount: clntudp_create: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to send (or
- receive sometimes) I get this one on the Amiga and the PC. The others are
- on the PC.
-
- also
-
- portmap -d
- Cannot bind udp: Address already in use.
